What kind of Pokemon is Wartortle, the Pokemon that NU'EST's Kim Jonghyun looks like.
Kim Jonghyun, who is a member of NU'EST and also appeared on Mnet's 'Produce 101 Season 2' as a trainee, has the nickname of Wartortle. Especially as he gained lots of attention in 'Produce 101 Season 2', this nickname became an issue as well.

The Squirtle evolution that Wartortle is a part of has the basic ability of 'Torrent'. When a Pokémon with Torrent uses a Water-type move, the move's power will be increased by 50% if the user has less than or equal to ⅓ of its maximum HP remaining.
Aside from this, Pokemon also have a hidden ability, and the Squirtle evolution's hidden ability is 'Rain Dish'. If a Pokemon has this ability, then when it rains, it will regain a little bit of HP in every turn.
After the remake versions of the 1st generation, Fire Red and Leaf Green, although it was hard to clear the game story with the 1st generation starter Pokemon, in the 6th generation XY, as the story progress, the player will definitely be able to obtain either one of Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.
As the Squirtle evolution which includes Wartortle is the most performance compliant amongst the usual water-type starter Pokemons, if it is chosen, it will be very helpful in clearing the Pokemon XY story.

Excluding Minhyun (Hwang Minhyun) who joined Wanna One, a total of four members—JR (Kim Jonghyun), Aron, Baekho (Kang Dongho) and Ren (Choi Minki)—will be included in the unit. The special single album that is meant as a gift for the fans who have waited for them will be released on the 25th.
